TED is a non-profit organization that aims to inspire ideas worth sharing. They’re known for their TED Talk series. If you’ve not watched any of these before, you should watch them. TED talks are often educational and can inspire, but they also have a lot of fun to listen to. Usually, they’re around 15 minutes long. The TED talks are usually about various topics such as science, philosophy, and technology. However, they also have some great discussions about cannabis. These are some of the best TED talks on the topic of cannabis.

The surprising story of medical marijuana and pediatric epilepsy | Josh Stanley

One of the most talked about cannabis TED talks was by Joshua Stanley, who created a strain of marijuana that can be used to treat seizures in people with epilepsy. In his talk, Stanley discussed the use of marijuana for medical purposes and how it can help those suffering from seizures. He also talked about Charlotte Figi, a young girl who is one of the most frequent users of marijuana in the world.

Stoners coming out – beyond the marijuana monster myths | David Schmader

In his talk, Schmader discussed the idea that society’s perception of people who use marijuana needs to change. According to David, the most prominent individuals who use marijuana are often caricatures, such as Snoop Dogg and Cheech & Chong. He claims that these people are damaging stereotypes and that most of us are just ordinary people.

He then compared the use of marijuana to the gay community, saying that the public’s perception of what a gay person used to be has changed due to the increasing number of people coming out. In the UK, over five million people use marijuana regularly, but many keep their use to themselves for fear of repercussions, despite being good friends and employees.

Cannabis cultivation has a dirty secret, but the future is sun-grown | Dan Sutton

Another great talk about cannabis you should watch is by Dan Sutton, who discussed the various traditions of marijuana cultivation. His goal is to show how these practices can help the environment. According to Sutton, commercial production of marijuana should be done in an industrial greenhouse, which uses natural light and doesn’t use a lot of electricity. This method could cut down on greenhouse energy consumption by over 90%.

The Untapped Promise of Cannabis Legalization | Akwasi Owusu-Bempah

Due to the legalization of marijuana worldwide, the potential for big businesses to profit from the industry is growing. However, Akwasi Owusu-Bempah questioned if the profit potential should be weighed against the societal benefit of the drug. In his talk, Lee discussed the story of Ryan and his friend, both teenagers from Canada. Ryan grew up in a middle-class household, while his friend was raised in a poor neighborhood.

When they were 15 years old, they were arrested for possessing small amounts of marijuana. However, Ryan was not charged after he was caught selling marijuana. Ten years later, Canada has legalized marijuana. Ryan is now the owner of a multi-million dollar company, while his friend, who has a criminal record, can’t get a job in the industry due to his status. Akwasi Owusu-Bempah also spoke about the need for the industry to help those affected by the prohibition of marijuana.
